A very intriguing gap-filler, that Aragorn should be offered a solution which is far easier than the fate he must face to win his lady. I very much enjoy your Aragorn here, particularly his distaste for Denethor, which is nonetheless tempered by his realization that the Steward's Heir and the solution to all his problems are involved with each other.

All too likely, Raksha. And I'm glad you were inspired by Anglachel's story, the best of her works I've read so far.
