This is a beautiful story. It is an unusual but I think more reasonable take on elven love life. I agree that having immortality but only having one mate for all the ages sounds not very practical, especially with all the wars going on. No wonder there are few elven children. Most of the fathers are probably dead.
I love your description of Lindir. He will have a hard time to wait until finally someone (Elrond?) descides that he has reached maturity. Seems a pretty subjective decision.

I almost screamed in frustration when I read the last chapter you have posted and there wasn't any more to read. This story is wonderful! I love how you've written Lindir and Erestor, and I hope that they find happiness with each other soon. I also thought that the exchange between Gildor and erester was very well done, and I liked how you pointed out that both of them needed the punishment. Thank you for posting, and I look forward to your next update!
