I really enjoyed reading your story. It brings the hobbits to life, so that I feel I can almost reach out and pat poor Sam's back. Your style is tight and accurate, and your writing has a wonderful warmth. Thank you!

Poor Sam. Betcha it was that no good Sackville-Baggins ruffian, Lotho, and his cronies! Wonderful peek into the backstory of Our Heros.

Vistula,
That is a truly wonderful story, so full of realism and warmth. I'm still sniffling! I just love the way you write Hobbits!
Thanks!

Lovely look at Sam and Frodo continuing to develop their lovely relationship.
In character and well within canon.

I'm soooo glad you posted this! I also wish I could be as prolific a writer as you..as the bunnies are quietly nibbling on a toe or two. I must get back into it again. Poor little Sam. You write the Shire so well! Congrats! -- Love -- Molly
