What a lovely story. I love your descriptions, and the gentle, loving relationship between Elanor and her mother, particularly Elanor's sudden thought of her mother as a young woman. The ghost of Frodo gave the story a certain sadness, but it was good to know that he was remembered not just by Sam and Rosie, but by their children too.
