As the name says, this where to obtain technical support.
I will also post technical alerts here.
Valid reasons to post here:
If any part of the forum or web site failed to work properly for you.
If you are suggesting improvements.
If you are requesting some new feature.
Please put a useful title on your post that indicates what the problem, request, or issue is.
"I'm having a problem editing my posts" is much preferred over, "Doesn't Work" or "This Sucks".
Everything not related to how the site works now, or the way you'd like it to work in the future belongs in some other forum.

Additionally:
Do not cut and paste whole articles from other sites, rather post a small pull quote, a credit to the original site & author and a link to article.
Proper English, correct grammar and spelling are encouraged.
Ardent debate, even if heated at times is welcomed, but please remain civil.
Given the current lack of civility in discussions of politics, religion, and other hot button topics, I am asking people to refrain from making posts of that type. I want this to remain a place where Tolkien fans can meet, discuss Tolkien and escape from the troublesome world for a bit.
