“War makes hard thanks,” she warned. Presenting the shield: “Your mother speaks: with it, or on it.”
“Princely thanks!” exclaimed Menarion.
“Enough! To the walls,” Varendur ordered. But he bowed to Ajhinaš. “Valar save you!”
