I am not certain precisely how this has come to be, and for me! Yes, I have served as my father’s chatelaine and hostess much of the time since my mother left Middle Earth; but today I am Queen to two kingdoms, sovereign lady not only to my Estel, but to the folk of Gondor and Arnor as well. And those who see us hand in hand upon the end of the stone that splits the city greet us with cheers and songs of praise and thanksgiving. How did I go from Elrond’s daughter to ruler?
