It's about time someone addressed the subject of charms for virility and fertility. I thought as I read this that it seemed very appropriate, particularly since it's Ecthelion making the gift. I have to wonder about his mode of delivery, however!
Denethor and Thorongil always make the sparks fly, flint to steel, when they're together, and you've depicted that very well. I particularly liked the part where Aragorn admitted he was waiting for his faraway lady, simply and with dignity.
