Actually, Juno, this is quite good! I was expecting something far more humorous. This was actually profoundly moving in a parodic way. Somehow the image of a writer sweating out drops of blood while all the while muttering over a cold cup of untouched tea while her spouse chuckles patronisingly from the couch kept running through my head. Very well done, mind you!

Too funny.
The original poem is beautiful already, but this one has its own charme, decidedly.
Will make me take the needs of the story into account even more in the future, I suppose - such a plea cannot stay unheard.
