A wonderful story. Very well written and extremely 'Tolkienisch'...this could have been a story in Lost Tales or one of the many missing chapters after the end of the Silmarillion, where so few things about the Last Alliance are 'spelled out'
Just keep on the good work and tell us more.

At least there is peace now--for a time, at least. And knowing that the Ring has survived gives good reason for others to worry for the future!
I'm sorry so many worry about the influence of Galadriel--she, too, will help ensure that the Elves remaining within Middle Earth will endure over the next age.
