I enjoyed this, it was funny and I got a lot of quiet laughs while reading it. I am sure that it speaks to most fan fiction writers on many different levels. While Gildor is not my personal dream - a certain scruffy ranger from the north is - I also wouldn't mind if he showed up here! :) Thanks for sharing and I can't wait for the next installment.

Oh, thrice funny vignettes. 1. Your RL computer and teacher issues are very wry. 2. Your characterizations are original 3. Your 'dialog' with other fanfic writers is witty. I have read some of your stories and will be sure to read more.

1. You have a terrific sense of humor
2. If your given name is either of the two I'm guessing, I think it's a lovely name, but then I've never been too fond of my own so I can commiserate.
3. I once offered you some nit-picking feedback, but only because I was so sucked into your story (because it was very well conceived & written!) that the little thing I noticed was jarring. I don't know about other people, but I don't give any feedback at all to people whose writing seems hopeless or not worth the effort to comment on.
4. Keep it up! Elrond in particular was really really funny -- I thought the same thing about the movie Imladris.
Rants are such fun to read ... when they're articulate!

reading about all the visitors to your realm makes me feel lonely.
I trust the poisonous plotcritters have been kept at bay.
I look forward to reading more of your tales.
In these, I must say, Glorfindel stands out and young Estel. Thank you for the pleasant views of them.
