For "Master of the House"
How very realistic this feel--Sam's defiance and Elrond's recognition this is right and proper after all.

For "Mordor Works in Mysterious Ways"--now this is indeed a proper hoot! Wonderful laughs as Pippin learns about cafeterias! Now, a smorgasboard he'd enjoy thoroughly!

Thank you so much, Vistula! You've captured Gimli's feelings perfectly! I've always seen him as being entranced by Legolas.
HANNON LE, MELLON NIN!

Have been rereading the last five drabbles and loving them. I do love the last one you did for my birthday--paranoia is indeed its own reward! The Elf's words at how he gives over the spirits of the trees are beautiful--and then there's Gimli's response--"Well, that clears it up!" Heh! Then the Dwarf's growing love for the elegance of Legolas as he runs, not held back by such things as rocks, stones, or even gravity; Sam's growing responstabilities; and the Sam we know in the making, preparing for a walk to Tuckborough as thoroughly as he was later to prepare for a much longer walk....
Beautiful, all of them. Will have to revisit them again soon.
And it IS good to have you back and writing once more!

Regarding "No Two Luckier Men"--Vistula, my friend, this is beautiful--so beautiful! And it's been too long since we heard from you!
