I really like the first-person narrative. It works well here. Your imagery is also lovely. I think I would either rate this story an 'R' or put a slash warning in the summary. I thought it was a little risque for a PG-13. Don't get me wrong...I like risque!!!

This is a little strong for a PG rating. I'd rate it an R just to be safe, although I did enjoy it! Your use of discription is very good, although I'm not certain the use of the sort of first-person narrative works. Good work though!

I really love this Ruby...but then I love everything that I've read of yours! In the slash genre you are *absolutely* in the top number of my "favorite authors" list. Your sensitive and loving portrayal of the characters is so heartwarming.
Thank you for sharing a beautiful version of a heart breaking subject.
