Interesting...seems like Finduilas' gift might have manifested in the more usual way after all! I do like that Aragorn became a favorite of hers. The last line does make you think about what would have happened had he never left Gondor. (Kicks AU nuzgul in the snout.)

This is a gorgeously haunting drabble. I love how literally true that last sentence is. Poor Finduilas, she won't ever know that although her visions will all come to pass, neither "hope" nor "Hope" is lost.
