Great story! I love the vignette structure, with the very brief scenes that nevertheless manage to evoke and communicate a lot. I also really liked the implication that Boromir knows, on some level, that he is going to his death, and does so to spare his brother--it really prompts a different reading of his character and his actions throughout FotR.
