I love your portray of Eowyn and Faramir, and the way their love grows. Beautifully done.

I really loved how real the back and forth was. You captured Faramir's ease with words and honesty, but also his habit of obedience and self-effacement. You also really got the odd combination of harsh realism and terror of honesty (self-deceit) that's in Eowyn.
Plus, it takes a fine author to write someone's dialogue when the character's supposed to be a wizard with words. Faramir's description of Ithilien stirred me too. :)

A lovely portrait of these two, for my money the believable and nuanced of the romantic pairings in LOTR. Faramir in particular shines here, and Eowyn is not far behind. They really seem to fit each other beautifully, and Eowyn is just beginning to realize it, while Faramir already has...
