This is the second time that I have read the story, but the first time that I have read it in final form. I really love the characterization of her AU character, Rowenna. Through the introduction and carried throughout the story, Rowenna comes through as a real person with realistic goals, fears and joys. I rank this up with Isabeau's "Captain My Captain" as one of the best of the genre.

I was waiting to start reading this after it was posted - I seldom start WIP anymore - but I just realized that chapter 2 and 3 are the exact same chapter, only the title of the chapter is different..

Aargh, sorry Rad! That has happened a couple of times in the process of cross-posting this multi-chapter monster from one site to another. Thank you for picking that one up - I've fixed that and double-checked all the other chapters now, so you should be able to read the whole thing unencumbered. Thanks for wanting to read!
