Although I'm rubbish at chess, it does provide a good backbone for a story. Who else should be playing Faramir?

Who else should be playing Faramir? Comment: I imagine the encounter of Galadriel and Faramir could be fascinating - she didn't seem to think much of his brother, and strikes me as uninterested in sugar-coating her disapproval. What would Faramir think of that? He would not want to go out of his way to offend his Queen's grandmother, but he might be annoyed...especially since things might have been different if Galadriel had bothered to counsel Boromir, or advise Aragorn that Boromir was being tempted by the Ring...
