Games of Chess

Stories in which the game of chess plays an important part...

   ~~~
Although I'm rubbish at chess, it does provide a good backbone for a story. Who else should be playing Faramir?
Comment:
Hi, I'm not an expert on small children, but I can tell you my own experience. I was three when my parents divorced, and I can very clearly remember the night my dad left. My mom was sobbing on her bed, and I decided to make her a tray of food to cheer her up. The things I remember clearest are the things I could sense (touch, smell,ect.) and the emotions involved. I can't remember words that were said or stuff. My sister was only 6 mounths old and she has a feeling of being abadoned by our dad (so do I). If Elboron had felt abadoned by Faramir (which as my sister shows can start as early as 6 mounths) it could have had a lasting affect. My sister and I completly cut off contact with our Dad three years ago due in part to this feeling. Umm, this has been a long post, and I'm not sure it will help you, but if it does feel free to ask me more questions.
