Stories in which the game of chess plays an important part...

Although I'm rubbish at chess, it does provide a good backbone for a story. Who else should be playing Faramir?

Who else should be playing Faramir? Comment: Heyo! Question came up in rereading - Faramir remembers quite a bit of his mother and his mother's death, athough he was fairly young. He also remember's Imrahil's courtship - when he was really young. Do his children (Elboron and Morwen, to be specific) also remember the events of A Game of Chess? Perhaps not as traumatic as your mother dying or one of your earliest visions, but your parent's separation would still ahve been pretty agonising to the children. If so, how does that affect their relationship with their parents, do you think?
