Something he said must have pleased her; she threw back her head and laughed, and he was amazed yet again by the ferocity she brought to everything, even delight. As they bade farewell to Mablung, he told himself: I can hold this together, even as I am, because there is this man to be loyal to me and this woman to love me; even as I am, I can hold this together... It was evening. Rain was spotting down. As they hurried back inside, she looked back with longing towards the gate and said, “How I wish we were riding out with him.” Because we have been getting a lot of spam, we now have a security number which you have to enter in order to post a journal reply.
