Hethlin of Anorien

By:Isabeau
 February, 25 2006

I know CMC's a done deal, but since I intend to give it a thorough editing in the future, I'll include it in this thread, as well as make this a place for any other Heth questions not appropriate for the Silver Swan thread.

Hi Isabeau,

Sorry to miss all the world-class nuzgūl-flinging that's been occurring here lately *watches fanged fuzzy creatures scrabbling and squealing piteously as they are lobbed every which way*, but I've been desperately trying to finish my story, "Fell and Fair", before the MEFA deadline.

Isabeau, remember last September when I thanked you for the inspiration for a drabble about the Battle of the Field of Celebrant (the central event in F&F)? That one drabble broke the dam, and the final battle chapter comprises 27 drabbles....

And I finally posted it!
henneth-annun.net/stories/chapter_view.cfm?stid=5160&SPOrdinal=13

I hereby dedicate my OC character, Gaerion, to you... his life and (untimely and uncomfortable) death would not have been possible without your inspiration. *vbg*

(The Author's Notes for that chapter won't be posted for a while yet... they're 7000 words long so far, and probably only half-done.)

Thank you again!

- Barbara, scurrying off to complete the final chapter of F&F
