Hethlin of Anorien
February, 25 2006
I know CMC's a done deal, but since I intend to give it a thorough editing in the future, I'll include it in this thread, as well as make this a place for any other Heth questions not appropriate for the Silver Swan thread.

Ummmm, you're allowed to do all of the above. I know it's been forever since I wrote anything, but really...
I'll join the group wanting to know more about Andra, the story you mention to follow motherless sounds interesting. I'd like to see more of him with Imri's family in general. The scene of him and Elphir in Last Right's and what you wrote about Andra having to be hard on him to prove that Elphir wasn't his favourite esquire, I'd like to see the two of them when he was growing up.
Two votes for the Motherless prequel then. There might be something short with him and Elphir as an esquire one of these days, but don't hold your breath. I really enjoyed writing the two of them together in Last Rites, which was the first time I'd really done anything significant with Elphir. It surprised me a bit, how close they were.
Also more of the aftermath of the fight you wrote in the march drabbles (shield man and bitter victory) when Andra wakes up, kind of the filler before ultimatums.
Ah yes. Did you ask me for this one before, or was that someone else? Sounds like a nice little angst-nuzgul, doesn't it?
If you want to do Blackbow I'll go along with that, Boromir and Hethlin work well together and I want to know what Faramir says when she turns up at his 'secret' refuge and the story of Arcag and the Mumak.
That's pretty much my last two chapters right there. Along with a little Faramir introspective angst.
Anything with Andra in is good, with Imri, your swan knights or especially Boromir. A fic where it's his birthday?
Andra's birthday? Hmmmmm, I'll have to decide when it is. That's kind of intriguing. Of course, I guess I could take the date on Kedara and Asinyal and let that be his birthday-the book would have been a great birthday gift.
Could Andra ride before he came to Dol-Amroth and what does he actually think of horses, does he like them as many of the knights seem to and does he always give them Haradric names?
You know, I don't know! It could have gone either way-it might have been part of his arms practice or he could have been totally clueless. I'm tending more towards him having had some training. But it had been four years since he'd last ridden when Imri saved him, and he'd never done mounted combat, so I suspect he had a lot of ground to make up, though he would not have been as bad off as a man of arms promoted to esquire. That's a good one, Nargil. Maybe Imri helped to teach him like he taught him to swim.
um yeah, bit of an Andra obsesion over here....
No, I hadn't noticed...
