|All the tales of the Valar and the Elves are so knit together that one may scarce expound any one without needing to set forth the whole of their great history.|

Hethlin of Anorien
February, 25 2006
I know CMC's a done deal, but since I intend to give it a thorough editing in the future, I'll include it in this thread, as well as make this a place for any other Heth questions not appropriate for the Silver Swan thread.
Something just occurred to me: in Passages, Heth tells Brand that the blade she got from Boromir was given to him on his fourtennth birthday. But when I read Visions, I don't see it being mentioned during their conversation. I suppose Boromir could have told her later in the evening, but I don't see them talking about it in the midst of the rangers and in front of Faramir himself! Only a possible continuity error - Faramir could have told Heth later, I suppose, when he recognises his brother's knife?
