Thanks, Nargil, but it's not really a contest like that. It's more of a challenge to actually start writing that novel that most of us say we're always going to write. You try to get your 50,000 words, which is a pretty good start. I'm at 0 at present, so I need to get moving.

Thanks to all of you for being understanding about the Brand story. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet, but I might go ahead and post it a bit at a time. I'm thinking it needs a prologue and I have a bit that might work. You'll know if I decide in favor of that approach...
