Blackbow and the Ithilien Rangers

Comment:
I was rereading Blackbow, and I think I noticed a discrepancy. In Blackbow, Mablung refers to Damrod as his fellow lieutenant, but in Discovery, Faramir asks for lieutenancies for Damrod and Anborn. Which is right?
