Isabeau's Journal

By:Isabeau
 November, 12 2005

OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors.

Thanks for answering the questions, Isabeau!

You're welcome. Sorry to be so late getting back to this. I think the journals are supposed to be telling you when you have a new comment, but I must have a setting wrong or something, because mine's not. And I don't think to check it every day.

4) Any new development of Erchirion would be well-loved in this corner. (Like, what is the discord/dissention between him and Imrahil in Altariel's "The Lost"? She would only tell me that it's coming up in one of your future stories.)

It will become an issue in Silver Swan. Woman trouble. And I'm working on a fairly long Erchirion story.

The current Bad Boy of Dol Amroth is shaping into one of my favorites. Though I don't want to think on what that says about me.

Which one? ;-)

6) So Nimrien is 5-7ish? Amrothos a little taller?

Yes. That sounds about right. Amrothos is short, like his mother. Definitely not soldier material, though before everything is done, he'll make his share of trouble.

7) Yes pleasepleaseplease post!

I'll try to do so over the holidays. I always liked that story-I look forward to becoming an irascible old woman, and enjoyed writing Heth as one.

dpetrash also wrote: Forgot another one. Sorry I'm too impatient to wait nicely for these things to be revealed in their own time, but this comes of rereading your stories for the twentieth time, I think....
5) Will Faramir ever learn about Boromir's gift of the knife to Hethlin, and B's request/feeling that she should stay close to him?

Yes, he'll learn about the knife eventually, but I'm not sure about Boromir's request.

6) 5'11 is a pain in the neck if you wnat to get clothes that fit, well if you're a girl in the 20th centuary like me. i suspect Andra would have the opposite problem with everything being to long, then again it is all made to meassure.

I'm almost 5'10 myself, so I can sympathize. Like men's shirts better because I'm long in the waist and arms and they just fit better. And regular jeans are too short and tall almost too long.

Nargil again: One other question, will we ever see Andra and Boromir together again between Discretion and Discovery apart from Trust, I can't help wondering about the next time they met after Andra's note.

I might do an encounter or two between them eventually. Been thinking about an occasion where they might have actually seen battle together. But I don't know when you'll see these stories.

Nargil: Liking the latest Silver Swan chappie BTW

Thanks! Now if I can just keep the momentum going...
