| | Journal Main Read Journal Entry Blog_display Isabeau's Journal By:Isabeau November, 12 2005 OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors. Comment: Can we assume that the journal entry for Silver Swan is open for CMC and Fourth Age also, and basically any other Heth-centered question or comment (Blackbow, Cage No Bird)? Would it also be a place for Noble Jewel & Reparation questions? Or is that too much stuff for one thread? Trying to think like a new arrival to the journals... I'd tend to put all the reader discussions into a general or forum-designated thread - the Imri/Elrohir and Arwen discussions, for example, although both could technically go under a CMC journal entry. If I were just showing up, Q&A sessions and your feedback to comments on specific stories or characters would be the most interesting, and the things I would want to be able to easily locate again for future reference. Opinion trading about Tolkien's philosophies and relative merits of Heth's suitors would be interesting but probably interfere with easy reading in the story-specific threads. Maybe also an Imrahil/Andra early days thread, for Ultimatums, Kin-Strife and one-offs like Motherless and Best Gift? Come to think of it, the way that yours and Altariel's web site is segregated seems a pretty darn good system to me, where those went under "Princes of Dol Amroth," so long as that doesn't end up putting too much into one thread. And if it does, you just start a new one! Because we have been getting a lot of spam, we now have a security number which you have to enter in order to post a journal reply. In the field marked validation number, enter one three six five as a four place number. |
