OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors.

OK, one question that I've long had since reading Captain My Captain for the first time (I won't admit how many times I've re-read it), is why the Eagles maintained their alliance with Hethlin's family after the unnamed(?) ancestor made his fateful bargain with Angmar. I really like how you portray the Eagles as beings very concerned with honor, manners, and the like. Completely believable and interesting. But given that, why would they want to associate with a self-cursed line that had, at one point, gone over to the dark side? I mean, if Elladan is on their x-list for the theft of a tailfeather ...
It's not inconceivable that the Eagles chose to stick with Hethlin's house, but I'd love to know why.
I'll keep my questions to one-per-post, probably easier that way. Thanks so much Isabeau, your writing is uniformly superb!
