Isabeau's Journal

By:Isabeau

OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors.

Nargil wrote: Why is Andra scared of hieghts, Soledad mentions in Pawns and Symbols that he is, was there a specific reason or is it just somthing he was born with?

I haven't come up with a good reason yet. Perhaps one of his legitimate half-brothers dangled him out of a tower or something when he was little.

Also was it Andra who taught Boromir that bit of a poem mentioned in the Silver Swan?

Sort of. The quote is from Kedara and Asinyal. There's a little bit about Andra, Boromir and poetry in the story Altariel and I are working on now.

Last one, What is the "retched stuff" Imrahil writes about in the book of poetry in Trust?

The date of the inscription is 2986, which is soon after he married Nimrien. So I suspect he's referring to the fact that he's been quite a headache to Andra from time to time, particularly with the business in Kin-strife and some of his other undocumented exploits.
