Isabeau's Journal

 November, 12 2005

OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors.

Also somthing just clicked in my head, Andra dies in 3036, is that why Imri looked so sad in Heth's vission in the mirror?

No, Imri wasn't wounded the day Andra died. The vision is about something else entirely.

Do we get to see any more of the 'bad' esquires from Kinstrife, I know Golasgil was in Trust but do we meet the others again?

You might see Golasgil from time to time, and I'm thinking of making a relative of his an esquire after the Ring War. And Jerulas is Valyon's daughter-they've both got such an exalted opinion of themselves that it just had to be.

Also where does Esteven come from?

Esteven is the son of a half-Haradric taverner in Dol Amroth. Andrahar patronizes his restaraunt from time to time-though the food isn't really the food from his provice, it's as close as he can get. Esteven was a big, strong boy with a chip on his shoulder because of his bit of Haradric blood (that's why he's a little on the swarthy side), and he was perpetually getting into trouble. The taverner asked Andrahar for some advice and Andrahar took the boy under his wing instead. Since Esteven liked horses, he got him a job at the stables, and told him that if he learned to read and write, Andrahar would make him an esquire. I think Andrahar let him sit classes in the palace. Esteven did learn to read and write and Andrahar sponsored him into the Swan Knights. He's cleaned up right well, don't you think?
