|All the tales of the Valar and the Elves are so knit together that one may scarce expound any one without needing to set forth the whole of their great history.|

OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors.
Denise asked: I'd always assumed that Elphir had to inform Imrahil right away of the decision to relieve Andrahar of being Commander. What I wondered (during Imrahil's comments on not talking to Andrahar about any of his "wallowing") is if Imrahil knows that it was specifically Hethlin that Andrahar struck, and if he and Andra have had a face-off about it yet.
Which is, of course, yet another scene I am very interested in seeing one day... :D
You know, I hadn't been thinking about that when I wrote the piece. I suppose that could be part of Imrahil's disgruntlement with Andrahar, but I don't really think so. That may change when I actually write the rest of the story that's supposed to go around Wallowing. Andrahar would have come clean to Imrahil at the earliest possible opportunity, so yes, I do think he knows about it. And I don't think he would have been pleased, but he would also have approved of Andrahar's actions in the aftermath of the incident. A bit of discreet observation and inquiry would have told him that Hethlin seemed to be settling in and doing better, so I don't think he has any questions about Andrahar's ability to teach her. Andra usually only makes a mistake once.
It would be a fun scene, wouldn't it? I'll have to think about that.
