Hethlin of Anorien

By:Isabeau
 February, 25 2006

I know CMC's a done deal, but since I intend to give it a thorough editing in the future, I'll include it in this thread, as well as make this a place for any other Heth questions not appropriate for the Silver Swan thread.

[91] I think Dwim pretty much covered it, Gronyats, although I will say in Heth's defense that in the event she found out about Andra's past, she certainly wouldn't ever discuss it with him. Admittedly, she's still young and a bit unseasoned socially, but the one thing she does understand is how she feels about her own experiences in that vein. She doesn't discuss them unless there's some necessity and she is still very shy about the physical reminders.

She would understand better than most and would certainly respect him for his perseverance. However, she already respects Andrahar for other reasons even if she doesn't particularly like him. I think that their shared concern for Imrahil will be more likely to draw them together than any other factor.

When she proves that she is serious about being an esquire things will even out. Hopefully, you'll find evidence of that in the next little bit, if I can get Passages going again.

[92] I don't think Hethlin or Andra would ever find any common ground on the issue or that they would talk about it. Andra might talk to Brand a little at need like in passages but not Heth. Saying that if you could ever get the two of them very very very drunk (not that either of them are big drinkers) the conversation has the potential to be hilarious.

Is it a co-incidence they both went into the war with very naughty horses?

I hope passages gets moving again, I thought you said you had a bit done?

Indeed! Do you need anything from us? Cookies, chocolate, nuzgul, another gleeful round of "who will Heth nest with"...?

[94] Sorry Denise, I borrowed your post, here's one Rochnariel style that I drew:

[95] LOLOL! Very nice, Nargil! I love your nuzgul. A tempting selection for the discriminating writer. :D

[96] That's a great picture, Nargil! Actually, I need to lay off the cookies and chocolate-trying to lose a few pounds (OK, more than a few pounds, about a hobbit's worth of pounds!). And I'm pretty sure I know who Heth is going to nest with. But by all means, talk to me! Fling those nuzguls! That works better than anything else.

[97] I have to sleep, then work then I'll make you a Nuzgul flinging strawberries (7 calories in 28g) you just have to avoid the chocolate fondoo.

As for Heth she will either mary Imri, Elrohir, Brand or someone else.

We should start a who will Brand nest with thing, there are 2 contenders already.

Is Andra entering the tournament or does he have to bow out on the grounds he'll win? mind you if Aragorn does more than archery....

I'm going to bed, 12:30 is too late for coherent conversation, although it's only afternoon where you lucky people are.

[98] lol! Nice picture! Will gladly contribute any more (non fattening!) edible goodies, or do the washing up (urgh! XP) if it helps the muse!

And as the second post to 'who will Brand nest with' - Brand and Heth just sounds...strange. I mean, I understand that politically and age/lifespan wise they're compatible. But since Brand looks up to Heth as a teacher with almost demi-hero worship, how will he ever progress from that to feeling a lover's passion? Ideas/psychological theories, anyone?

[99] Oh, and does anybody know how I can get email alerts for when this journal is updated? Like on the HASA website you can sign up for alerts when forums are added to?

[100] I don't know that you can get alerts, I find adding the TFF home page to my favourites and checking obsesivley to see who is at the top and if the number of posts has gone up is quite effective.......

As promissed, healthy Nuzgul complete with Nuzgul catapult, (ever wondered how they get to the wll off your desk...
