Isabeau's Journal

By:Isabeau
 November, 12 2005

OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors.

[401] Oh oh oh! Do I have the four-hundredth comment?!

:)

It's so exciting to think there will be a Hethlin-related story soon -- seems like such a long time!

Altariel the six-year-old

Well, illereyn the 12-year-old immediately went back and found that the 100th comment was about none other than Altariel.

*Giggles at the coincidence*

 [403] Isabeau,

Even though I knew who nested with Heth; I enjoy your writing so much that I would still read and re-read whatever you write. I vote for you to listen to your muse! Yay!

 [405] Hello, Isabeau,

When my doctoral thesis seemed like it was going nowhere I sometimes wondered which would happen first: completing the thesis or finding out what happens with Hethlin. Haha! Well ... I submitted the bloody thesis two days ago ... any chance we might get to see the story you mentioned last fall? (imagine emoticon of hopeful, winsome smile here)

Congratulations to you! I know how hard that is! Which story was that? White Eagle? It might be possible, thanks to B2MeM month, my muse is stirring a bit. I really need to finish Passages first though.

[408] Just testin' to see if the fix worked. It was crashing on apostrophes, which used to work just fine but suddenly caused weird problems.

I am hoping this works, it worked on my version on my home server. But then, stuff which works here was not working at home, which I had to fix before I could fix this. I think is has something to do with the site being on LINUX and my home server running on Vista.

[410] Mike's instructions were to test with an apostrophe.... I suspect this will work....
