Blog_display Isabeau's Journal By:Isabeau November, 12 2005 OK, folks-this is the general forum now for questions that don't seem to fit in any of the other threads. I'm going to sort some of the earlier posts into the appropriate forums, but it might take a while, so bear with me. I'll delete the ones that have already been reposted by their authors. Post A Comment E-mail Author [291] Hello Isabeau, How are you? The summer just flew by, it seems. I was wondering if we can look forward to something new for one of your many WIP's? My very best wishes to you and your muse! Rebecca Posted:Sep 14, 2006 14:48 GMT Reply to this Comment [292] Rebecca wrote: Hello Isabeau, How are you? The summer just flew by, it seems. I was wondering if we can look forward to something new for one of your many WIP's? My very best wishes to you and your muse! Hello, Rebecca (and everyone else!). I'm hoping you'll see something here soon-I've got about half a chapter of Ultimatums in the works. But it's on the back burner because Brand has been very talkative of late. My capricious muse finally decided about a week ago that I needed to get the story of how Brand found out about Andrahar and his father on paper, and I've got three chapters so far and am working on the fourth. Not sure how long this one is going to be, but I'd rather not post it until it's finished-review slut that I am, I'm hoping that will motivate me, and I DON't want another WIP. So hopefully you will see it soon. Sorry to have been so laggard in the writing department, but the muse has been very recalcitrant this summer. Rebecca Posted:Sep 15, 2006 08:42 GMT Reply to this Comment [294] Hi, I just got back from the states for some really good news then, and I loved the blackbow chapter from over the summer, came in the midle of a very rough week at the camp where I was working and cheered me right up. Good luck with all the writings looking forward to anything new as ever Nargil Posted:Sep 15, 2006 11:58 GMT Reply to this Comment [295] i agree entirley...let elrohir and hetlin share their time together..for they both love each other..even if elrohir probably loves hetlin more maha Posted:Feb 13, 2007 22:16 GMT Reply to this Comment [296] oops i apologise for this post...i was replying to a comment that i saw through google...when i searched 'elrohir hethlin' i thought that the post in response to supporting the relationship between said characters was a recent entry. i might as well just say something of worth. to isabeau greenlea...your novels really are a wonder to behold. i wonder why you even write fanfiction (please continue), wonderful phrasing and such a deep story. your elrohir i have to say is exactly how i imagined him to be, he's even become my idea of what elrohir is for we all know that tolkien did not really flesh out his character to that extent. your elrohir is neither elven or human..a being of mixed race and heritage. Both insider and outside, at home with everything yet a stranger to all even himself. the scenes between hethlin and him on the journey from lothlorien to minas tirith are wonderfully heart wrenching..i can feel the emotion seeping through the pages. being myself quarter white, quarter malay, quarter chinese and a quarter indian! (pheww) i relate to his mixed race situation. aside from the personal feelings of comradeship with elrohir your hethlin is wonderful...i relate her to lyra from his dark materials...even to eowyn..but in reality shes her own character, which you have created and guided yourself. maha Posted:Feb 13, 2007 22:24 GMT Reply to this Comment [297] Rebecca in reply to your hethlin/elrohir picture by hope hoover or elizbeth wyeth i have it on my computer...and i've uploaded it to photo bucket (my apologies to the artist..but according to to the post it seems this picture was lost on your hard drive, so please if you want me to delete it i will. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v489/ilmareaegnor/Elrohirandhelith.jpg maha Posted:Feb 13, 2007 23:01 GMT Reply to this Comment [298] Maha! As one who has heard much of this picture, but never gotten to see it: THANK YOU! *sigh* So lovely... I hope EW has time to finish/post more art soon... Denise Posted:Feb 13, 2007 23:24 GMT Reply to this Comment [299] Maha, you rock!! Thanks for posting that picture -- yay! I'd resigned myself to never seeing it again. Rebecca Posted:Feb 14, 2007 16:20 GMT Reply to this Comment [300] oh how beautiful...what a wonderful picture...elrohir is so beautiful...but is the person who is holding him really hethlin? eressa Posted:Mar 26, 2007 05:16 GMT Reply to this Comment | ||||||
