6 PUBLISHED STORIES:
Gathering the Pieces
A Maedhros-sans-hand story which is darker than most. Maedhros views his life's work as a game. He plots his moves and gathers some important pieces.

The Son of Kings
Tolkien seems to have found figuring out Gil-Galad's paternity particularly difficult. Who was Gil-Galad's father, really? Was it Fingon? Finrod? Orodreth? (Which Orodreth?) Cirdan? It is an interesting question, and one this fic completely fails to answer. It does, however, answer the question of who his mother was. Anyway. Warning for, um, authorial self-insertion.

It has been said that character is fate, and this certainly holds true for Beleg, whose single-minded focus leads him straight to his Doom.
Warning: Although this story follows that of the Narn I Hin Hurin very closely, I suspect that Beleg's character, at least, is slightly AU. Also, there are slashy themes here, even if the whole is very, very LACE-compliant.

Sand and Flame
A retelling of a very well-known story. Features Feanor and Nerdanel as young geeks in love, a rather unsympathetic look at Indis, and a lot of very simple sentences.

Flawed and Fair
Aredhel is leaving Gondolin, and Ecthelion is part of her escort. During the journey, he will have to deal with Finwe's grandchild, spitting Sindar, orcs, unlight, giant spiders -- and his unnatural feelings for Glorfindel. Slash, spiky humour.
